We are Government Registered Tour Operator in Bhutan. In my capacity as Founder and Head of Operation, I take this opportunity, to highlight on our reputation and success of this company. My personal hand-on experience of travel industry for nearly two decades and essentially the committed team of specialists with years of real-world familiarity on Bhutanese landscape is our asset and confidence.
MR. DAMBER K.GHIMIRAY
A journalist turned tour enthusiast, Mr. Ghimiray is Operation Head for Bhutan Travel Guide. He has nearly 20 years of journalistic experience, profound knowledge on public relations, intercultural communications and cultural diversity. Matured both bodily and mentally Ghimiray is widely travelled and exposed within and beyond the Bhutanese boarders, possesses Master Degree in Communication Arts. In September- 2018, Mr. Ghimiray contested for a parliamentary seat in the third National Assembly election of Bhutan. His passion to communicate with people, meeting deadlines and perfection at workplace is his dominant edge in his assignments.
MR. RAMESH DHIMAL
A young dynamic Tourism Council of Bhutan certified Bhutan Tour Guide. After successful completion of Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Mr. Ramesh, before joining Bhutan Travel Guide, had been an active freelance guide for several Bhutanese tour operators. A hardworking and sincere Ramesh has keen interest in travelling, meeting new people, exploring new things and sharing Bhutanese values to the outside world. Oh, Ramesh at times is little silent yet wild with humor.
MR. PRAVESH SHARMA
A very talented and a graduate in B.Com from Gaeddu College of Business Studies, Mr. Pravesh Sharma comes from southern Bhutan. Right after his graduation he joined Bhutan Travel Guide as a Manager in 2010. Though he is from a Business background, he is very much interested in Tourism as it was a dream from his small age to work in tourism industry. He manages everything in the office and has got very good leadership skills. He also has a cultural guide license which when there is less work in the office, he guides our valued clients.
MRS. BASUNDHARA NEPAL
After completion of her high school from Dr. Graham’s Homes and a graduation certificate in Business administration from North Bengal University in India, Basundhara holds the position of a Finance Manager. She has worked at Uma Resort as Asst. finance manager & with several years in Uma COMO hotel, she joined Bhutan Travel Guide. She has been working with BTG since it was founded . She is very punctual and sincere in whatever she does for the company and she loves her job very much.
MR.THARCHEN
A class 12 pass out talented man, Mr. Tharchen, worked for Aman Kora, Phobjikha as an executive chef for two continuous years. After having resigned from Aman Kora, he joined BTG in 2010 as the trekking head. He manages all the trekking equipments and all other necessary things to be taken during the trek. He has done almost all the trek routes all around the country and has good knowledge about the first AID during the treks. He is not only a cook but a leader who shows and helps every crew members in all kinds of work during the trek. He comes from eastern Bhutan.
